What people want is often not what we think they do.  Take our experience, as an example.  The list below is typed up on a single page.  It sits behind my desk.

Many clients, and especially those who attend a Master Class, ask for a copy or permission to snap a photo of it.

Missive rules

  • Will it be read in a year’s time?
  • Offer a decisive opinion
  • Write for beginners
  • Narrow the topic
  • Truth but stay positive
  • Include some facts
  • Take the high road
  • Be the voice of reason
  • Simple graphic, table or bullet points per post

Now, I will let you decide how well we fulfil this list.

I think it is very important to start with some ground rules.

Sadly, as the generic housing market starts to sour (and yes, that is me being positive), the blame game will gather momentum.  It started, in earnest, a few weeks ago.   Few really want to read about who defamed whom.

If you don’t like something that someone has said or written, delete and fast forward*.  There is no need for the spite and bile.

*Willie Nelson song from his latest release, God’s Problem Child.  He has still got it.   The title track is also great.

PS Master Classes are set to resume later this year.  We are limiting these to four events per year.  We would rather do less, but provide more.  These are popular and if you want to know more, please contact us.

Keen to hear your thoughts.

Until next time,

Michael Matusik
